2. What data is processed

• Your calculation data (distance, fuel economy, start, destination, preferences) is stored only in your browser’s local storage and is not sent to the owner. See the cookie policy.
• Technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page visited and browser) is logged by the hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), through its Cloudflare Pages service, to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
• Advertising (Google AdSense): Google and its advertising partners may process cookie and device identifiers, IP address, browser data and the pages you visit to show ads, measure their performance, prevent fraud and, if you agree, personalise them. More information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
• The text you type as start or destination and your IP address are sent to Photon (komoot GmbH, Germany) to find the place.
• Start and destination coordinates and your IP address are sent to the OSRM project demo server (router.project-osrm.org) to calculate the route.
• Your IP address is received by the Frankfurter service (frankfurter.dev) when European Central Bank exchange rates are requested.
• If you write to [email protected]: your email address and whatever you include in the message.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Serving the site, keeping it secure and providing the features you use (place search, routing and exchange rates): the owner’s legitimate interest and provision of the service you request (GDPR articles 6.1.b and 6.1.f).
• Advertising: your consent (GDPR article 6.1.a and article 22.2 of Spanish Law LSSI-CE), collected with Google’s consent management platform, certified under the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2. Some partners may rely on legitimate interest for certain purposes; you can object in the same message.
• Replying to your messages: your consent when you write (GDPR article 6.1.a).

Until you choose, Google Consent Mode denies storage for advertising and analytics. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The owner does no profiling or automated decision-making; if you accept personalised ads, Google and its partners may build advertising profiles under their own policies.

4. Retention

Technical logs are kept for as long as the hosting provider sets for security purposes. Advertising cookies, for the periods listed in the cookie policy. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your query and then for the statutory limitation periods.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Data reaches the providers listed in section 2, to deliver each feature. For advertising, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and the advertising partners listed in the consent message act as independent controllers. Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Data is not shared with other third parties unless required by law.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. For data Google processes for advertising, you can also manage your preferences in Google My Ad Center. If you feel your rights have not been properly addressed, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

You can delete the data stored in your browser at any time with the “Reset” button or from your browser settings.

7. Changes to this policy

If the way the site works changes (for example, if analytics tools are added), this policy will be updated before the change applies.
